At Hobby Appliances Home, every used and refurbished appliance comes with a warranty — clearly printed on your receipt for peace of mind. We provide 6 months of warranty on fridges and 3 months on washers, dryers, washer and dryer sets, and stoves. For fridges, the warranty covers any cooling or freezing issues. For all other appliances, it covers operational problems. If anything goes wrong during the warranty period, we’ll repair the appliance or offer a suitable replacement at no cost.
We proudly stand behind our warranty and keep the process simple. If you’re located in Calgary, Airdrie, or Chestermere, our certified technicians will come to you for warranty repairs. If you live outside these areas, you’ll need to bring the appliance to our store for service. In cases where a replacement is necessary, customers within our service areas can either receive delivery or visit the store to select and pick up a replacement. Customers outside our service areas can pick up their replacement at the store and drop off the non-working unit.
Even if your warranty has expired, we won’t leave you without support — we still offer repairs or replacements at a discounted rate, far lower than standard service fees.
We understand that buying used appliances can come with hesitation, but our transparent, hassle-free warranty is just one of the ways we help you shop with confidence.

We proudly offer appliance delivery across Calgary, Airdrie, and Chestermere for every used and refurbished appliance purchased in-store. Whether you’re buying one unit or several, delivery can be arranged over the phone or by email—just note that full payment must be made before your delivery is scheduled. We aim for same-day or next-day delivery whenever possible, or within the same week the purchase was made at the latest.
Our delivery fee varies depending on your location, how accessible your home is, and how many appliances are being delivered. If you have an old appliance you’d like taken away, we’ll handle the removal during delivery at no extra charge—just be sure it’s emptied and the path is clear for safe, smooth removal.
While we don’t provide full installation, our team offers simple connection and setup for washers, dryers, and fridges with ice makers or water dispensers. Please make sure your home’s hookups and utility access are ready when we arrive. From doorstep to setup, we make sure your appliance purchase ends with a smooth, hassle-free delivery experience.
